KNOWING THE TRUTH - the person of JESUS 2

Now you are in JESUS what should you know. What should you grow in? What should your new appetite be?
Let's look at the scriptures together
Romans 8:1-5
"  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus " The first question arises are you in Christ Jesus if yes then this statement pertains to you and if not you could visit the previous blogpost on KNOWING THE TRUTH - the person of JESUS.
Being in Christ JESUS what are you supposed to do ?
                   You are now to walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh Romans 8:1
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT ?
         First, what does the BIBLE refer to as the SPIRIT ? What the Bible refers to as the SPIRIT is life in the SPIRIT (in this context), then the new question becomes how can I live in the Spirit while I am still on earth ?
The answer is simple because living in the SPIRIT simply means HAVING JESUS TO BE THE REASON BEHIND EVERY SINGLE THING YOU DO and the guideline to this; is doing everything in accordance to scriptures not just having the scriptures in your head but living the scriptures. This is what living in the Spirit is, because JESUS told us that the WORDS that HE speaks are Spirit and they are life John 6:63.

NOW YOU WALK IN THE SPIRIT WHAT HAPPENS ?
          This leads us to verse 2 through 4 which says "For the law of the Spirit of life IN CHRIST JESUS hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
 Living in the SPIRIT mortifies your flesh and quickens your spirit to righteousness and this makes you live above the law and sin conciousness is now turned to JESUS conciousness because HE becomes the one you want to please and above all you are free from the  bondage of sin which has its root from the law.

TO GOD HOW DO YOU APPEAR?
         At this point GOD stops seeing you as you and begins to see you through righteous JESUS and here this scripture is manifested 1 Corinthians 5:17,19,21
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (KJV)
2Co 5:19  For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. (NLT)"

THERE'S A CHANGE
Col 1:13,22-23NLT)
"For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, *this is the glorious change*
  Yet now He has reconciled you TO HIMSELF through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don't drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News."

    Indeed, Ancient words... Ever true!
    In these times, where scriptural matters have utterly been "overtaken by the scheme of events", it gives great cheer to have a youngster expound on God's word, painstakingly.
