The Blessedness Of Obedience

Understanding Obedience
What is obedience?
Obedience is the demonstration of the multifaceted wisdom of God. It is proving God true in whatever He says and is a sincere act of faith. I need you to understand the wisdom and the power of God in His Word. And not just the power but the wisdom therein as in the book of John 1:14
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth"
From this scripture we understand that Jesus is the Word of God and from the book of Corinthians 1:24
"...Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."
So when the Word of God goes forth it is Jesus going forth and backed up with the power of God and wisdom of God for quick manifestation as in Hebrews 4:12.
Then what is the essence of obeying when God's Word is that powerful?
Going back to the beginning when the World was created look what God Himself said in Genesis 1:26
"And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness:and let them have dominion over ..."
When God created the earth He willed all the power of governance over to man and when man sinned he willed it to the devil because man is a servant to whosoever he obeys Romans 6:16.
So as it were the power to act on earth is depended on us and us being obedient to the faith is giving God the privilege of acting knowing that Jesus is our faith Hebrews 12:2 and equally is the Word of God John 1:14.
After the fall of man the plan of God has always been to restore man to His initial glory and he sought whom who would stand and be the man that could fit this purpose. No one not even Abraham who is the father of all that believe Romans 4:11. The only option was Him coming Himself in the person of Jesus, the new question was how was Jesus going to come? Of which linage would He come from that would uphold the faith down his generation and He found Abraham, look at what God said of Abraham in Genesis 18:19 " For I know him,he will command his children and his household after him and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him"
This statement God made was without a doubt the backbone to the statement He made in Genesis 17:4 "As for me,behold,my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a Father of many nations"
It did not just end there, what did God say about Abraham He spoke to Abraham in Genesis 18:18 "...all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?"
Jesus is the source of this blessings and it covers all those that believe in Him and down the line you see that Abraham kept to the Words of God,because we see that down the line Jacob rose still keeping the covenant,David rose still keeping the covenant and down to Jesus. Though at some point they failed buh the Covenant Keeping God sustained them and still kept to His word.
A question arises what kept them from Abraham to Jesus?
It was obedience and it is this obedience that would keep you to the peak God has for you  as in Isaiah 1:19 " If ye be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land"

U can ask Uncle Adam why did he not enjoy the best of God. And the trees and grasses would cry out he disobeyed.
Ask Father Abraham what made him stick to obeying God in the most difficult situation when He asked him to sacrifice his long awaited son (25 years of waiting, not months, not days, not seconds not even milliseconds) the calculation is equal 777.6 million seconds of waiting and after the waiting God asked him to sacrifice his own son himself......
He gave him no specific location for the sacrifice,he carried the wood, kept trekking through the hilly mountains where was obviously white with snow, for three days he was trekking in the cold, scorching sun and moist breeze he kept trekking with his tent, and his food.
He did not complain,he did not mutter as a matter of fact he dis not tell the wife so it would be simple and smart without any muttering to God by the wife.
And after this what was his result?
He became the father of the faith there is no great hero of faith that is not traceable to Abraham.
He was plenty in cattle, gold, silver Gen 13:2 Abraham never lost a battle  Gen 14:14-17. Particularly after the great obedience he depicted God blessed him with an everlasting blessing as in Genesis 22:16 -18
"and said, I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me."
This was the glorious blessing of Abraham by virtue of his obedience.
But another question arises What made Abraham stick to obeying God even at the humanly and impossible times?
This would be treated next
THE ROOT OF OBEDIENCE & THE ROOT OF DISOBEDIENCE
