THE PAIN THAT BROUGHT OUR JOY PART 2

WAS THE CROSS ACTUALLY PAINFUL?

As a child, watching the passion of Christ always painted a picture of how JESUS was flogged and how He carried the cross drenched in His blood, but the real question has always been was the strokes and the carrying of the cross the most painful part of the Cross to Jesus?

Through the help of the Holy Ghost and study of the scriptures has made me realise that the most painful part of the cross was not the strokes and neither was the cross HE carried, the most painful part of the death of JESUS was HIS seperation from HIS father to become sin. (John 10:30)

 From the book of Matthew 26:36 - 40 I would love to highlight some points;
Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. (36b)
My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. (38)
Jesus was going to pray to intercede for the entire world he was going to become sin, to carry the sin of the whole world!!!
Imagine this, if a man's sin could take him to hell just his, you can imagine what JESUS was going through carrying the sins of everyone on earth, both the past, the present and the future sin of the whole world was on JESUS, this is called intercession, this particular scripture talks about the intecessory Ministry of JESUS.
O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (39)
Jesus as strong as HE was (He grew in wisdom and stature Luke 2:52) the burden and the sin of the whole world was big for him, because it is not by might not by strength but by the SPIRIT OF GOD, and at this point the HOLY GHOST was no longer there because he was burdened with sin that HE became sin and the HOLY GHOST couldn't live therein and this was the most painful part. Breaking a union with the bone of Jesus' bone (GOD) was the painful part, at some point Jesus wished the cup passed over him without HIM partaking of it, and that was why at this point HIS sweat was like blood, because JESUS was already broken
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. (42)

This was the most painful part to JESUS,his intercession for you, his becoming sin that you should live and have life more adundantly, the most painful part of the cross to JESUS was HIS seperating from GOD so that you can be a part of the family.

"Father I thank you for your finished work of salvation in Christ  Jesus, please Father I ask for forgiveness of sins, thank you for accepting me as your own and i receive the very life of JESUS in faith"
 Are you a child of GOD I challenge you to grow in your fellowship(fervency of prayer and Bible Study) with the Father because this ministry of intercession is given to heart-felt Sons of GOD.

Dear Christian, grow in your walk with GOD and you who does not know God personally go and find HIM for yourself.
