THE BLESSEDNESS OF OBEDIENCE PART 2
God's commandments are instructions that put us on the path of life. As my mentor said (Bishop David Oyedepo) God's commandment is to polish us and not to punish us.
God's commandment has never been much more than we can keep reason being that He told us in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 6:6
"And these words,which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart"
If it were in our hearts it becomes our nature to keep them buttressing on this point the apostle John said that His commandments are not to grievous for us to keep 1John5:3.
Obedience to God's word is the key to possessing the greatness God has for us. It is the key to releasing the supernatural. It is the Gateway to the manifold wisdom of God. So why not obey

THE SITUATION AT HAND:
Most times when God speaks He looks into the future and says a thing and it would require your faith to bring it to reality and this explains the scripture The just shall live by HIS faith Habakkuk 2:4. Taking a short study on the life of Abraham when God told him that he was going to be the father of many nations Gen17:4-5. Abraham did not have any child then, where was the nation without a child? The child did not come the next year in fact He (God) has not yet promised him of any child the promise came later on in Chapter 18. To Abraham then whatever God was saying was very massive and the ordinary mind could not fathom it. He believed against all hopes and to him there was a performance Luke 1:45. At this point God was seeing into the future and declaring from the future and Abraham was in the now believing that great future. It takes faith to see the future God is talking of and being in the right track of obedience. The Israelites did not see the great future when they were in the wilderness and this prolonged their stay by 39 years 325 days. Do not cast your eyes on the now build your faith to see what God is saying.
Secondly is
OUR MIND:
Taking our scriptural reference from Numbers 13:21-31(A RECOMMENDED READ) Moses sent men to spy the land and they acknowledged the goodness of the land well enough, that the land was flowing with milk and honey. They came back also with a special evil report about the people that they were strong,the cities fenced and further concluded in verse 31 "We be not able to go up against the people for they are stronger than we" in essence they were not fit for the Promised land. And this was particularly after Caleb had shut them up in verse 30. Their mind was not prepared to receive the best God had for them. Yes the land was good and they were obstacles (to verify the Word of God) . But Caleb saw beyond his physical eye,he saw the Promise of God. Of them entering the promised land that he was so entrenched in the promise that he did not notice the existence of the giants but rather they appeared to be dwarfs because the promise of God was ever before Him and that was the Word of God.
Sir/Ma why you cannot be found on the path of the promise of the Father is because you have refused to get soaked with His Word. Get entrenched in the Word and the giants of the World would appear as dwarfs to you . ENJOY JESUS! for life
