What is ahead of us: A LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY

What would lead us to the blessed land flowing with milk and honey is obedience and what would sustain us is obedience still. WHAT IS IN THIS LAND ? The land flowing with milk and honey, this was literally not just the land but signified the Presence of GOD, a place of rest in Christ Jesus. Knowing fully well that other nations were pursued just for them to move into the land flowing with milk and honey. The milk and honey was in their Presence of GOD that would be released when they obey and also the rest of GOD that they would enjoy as a result of their obedience. The land flowing with milk and honey is as a result of our obedience to the Words of Christ Jesus and our growth in faith. These blessings are so awesome and marvelous and permit me mind-blowing would be an understatement for it all  also for FIRST OF THE BLESSINGS OF MULTIPLICATION OF ANYTHING BELONGING TO US: Deuteronomy 7:13  " And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless th

THE BLESSEDNESS OF OBEDIENCE PART 2

God's commandments are instructions that put us on the  path of life. As my mentor said (Bishop David Oyedepo) God's commandment is to polish us and not to punish us.  God's commandment has never been much more than we can keep reason being that He told us in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 6:6 "And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart" If it were in our hearts it becomes our nature to keep them buttressing on this point the apostle John said that His commandments are not to grievous for us to keep 1John5:3. Obedience to God's word is the key to possessing the greatness God has for us. It is the key to releasing the supernatural. It is the Gateway to the manifold  wisdom of God. So why not obey Hindrances to obeying God: The situation at hand Our mind THE SITUATION AT HAND: Most times when God speaks He looks into the future and says a thing and it would require your faith to bring it to reality and this explains the scripture The

WHAT ARE WE TO OBEY

The question that arises next is what are we to obey? We are to obey the commandments of God from the very words of Jesus in the book of John14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (KJV)  Then this same question comes up What are His commandments? In the book of Mark 12:29-30 "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is,Hear, O Isreal; The Lord our God is one Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind and with all thy strength: This is the first commandment" (KJV) From verse 29 Jesus said the Lord thy God is one Lord what does this have to do with Loving the Lord? This is because God is one with His word and His word never changes. What was the Word Jesus was emphasising on? This was the Word spoken to the Israelites in the book of Deuteronomy 6:4-5 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy

THE ROOT OF OBEDIENCE AND DISOBEDIENCE

OBEDIENCE Obedience is from GOD John 10:27 “ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me ” (KJV) and all those that obey have something in common they know JESUS CHRIST and the person of JESUS . One who truly knows JESUS CHRIST is compelled to obey JESUS CHRIST and obeying JESUS CHRIST is following JESUS CHRIST and following JESUS turns you to Jesus on earth (being renewed in the image of JESUS CHRIST), the reason being 2 nd Corinthians 3:18 “ But we all with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord Spirit ” (LITV).  The first obedience is first of all that of the faith as in Romans 1:5 “ …for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name ” (KJV) Obedience to the faith here is making JESUS the author and finisher of our faith Hebrews 12:2 and accepting His finished work as in  John 17:4  “ I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished

The Blessedness Of Obedience

Understanding Obedience What is obedience? Obedience is the demonstration of the multifaceted wisdom of God. It is proving God true in whatever He says and is a sincere act of faith. I need you to understand the wisdom and the power of God in His Word. And not just the power but the wisdom therein as in the book of John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" From this scripture we understand that Jesus is the Word of God and from the book of Corinthians 1:24 "...Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God." So when the Word of God goes forth it is Jesus going forth and backed up with the power of God and wisdom of God for quick manifestation as in Hebrews 4:12. Then what is the essence of obeying when God's Word is that powerful? Going back to the beginning when the World was created look what God Himself said in Genesis 1:26 "And God said,l
HE HAS NOT LEFT US IGNORANT TO DIE PART 2 What has the BIBLE said about knowledge? Right from the first creation knowledge was mention in the book of Genesis 2:9 " The LORD God made all the trees grow out of the ground. These trees were nice to look at, and their fruit was good to eat. The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil grew in the middle of the garden." UKJV When God created man He breathed into man and he became a living being from Job 27:3 " All the while my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils" We can see that why Adam became a living being was because the Spirit of God was in him giving him the living ability, because man was made to dominate, he naturally took the place he was created for, in having dominion over the animals and the great wisdom he had when he named the animals. But there was something man did not have that was the very life of God in the new testament called ZOE. This was what was in the tree
