Ye are gods

Ye are gods says the Lord of host 

I would love of us to see these verses of the scripture like this
Psalm
82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
82:7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
Why ?
Psalms  82:5 Ye know not, neither do ye understand; ye walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.(paraph

From scriptures we find God calling us gods the question is why has He called us so?
 In the book of Genesis 1:26
 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
God is God and He created us in His image and likeness from this solid truth we find that we are created in the likeness and after the image of God so inseparably we are gods in the nature of FATHER GOD.
Looking at verse 7 talks about the death of gods , how possible is it that a god can die, and after dieing fall like "one"  of the princes meaning this gods were not just going to die, they were going to die a very shameful death as of mortal men.
Reason being that hey know not, understand not and walk in darkness and putting someone else min charge the devil who causes the foundation of the earth to be out of course.
From  this passage of the scripture we find out that it is lack of knowledge and understanding that deprives them of their God given godliness.
Looking at the heart of God atHosea  4:6
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children"
In conclusion the reason God is not pleased with His people is their lack of knowledge of whom they are and living in the reality of it.
This lack of knowledge has cost them their lordship as gods and also made them filthy before God that they cannot stand.

Understanding Obedience What is obedience? Obedience is the demonstration of the multifaceted wisdom of God. It is proving God true in whatever He says and is a sincere act of faith. I need you to understand the wisdom and the power of God in His Word.
