IN FELLOWSHIP WITH JESUS PART 2

 WELCOME TO YOUR NEW FAMILY IN CHRIST JESUS (ROM 8:17, 1ST JOHN 3:1,EPH 8:17)

Now you are a member, it should be noted that you have an inheritance as a Son or a Daughter of GOD and it is only limited by the level of knowledge you have in CHRIST in essence if you want to enjoy more of the inheritance you have as a Son or Daughter of God you increase in knowledge       (2 Peter 1:3) .
And this knowledge is a relational knowledge in the sense that it is built on your LOVE FOR GOD.
It should be noted that once you become a member of the family of GOD, the Holy Spirit sheds abroad the love of GOD in our hearts in accordance to Romans 5:5. So each day build your knowledge bank in the SPIRIT through the study of the BIBLE which is done out of a heart of LOVE FOR JESUS. 

 This is actually one of the secrets to being in FELLOWHSHIP with JESUS.

 SO WE SHOULD TAKE TIME TO OUTLINE THE BASICS HERE

"And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."
MARK 12:28-31

From the words of JESUS above, we recognise that before HE mentioned LOVE, He said   
Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord
So as a member of the body of Christ (1st Corinthians 12:12,27) we are expected first of all to have this character of CHRIST "The Lord our God is one Lord" 


AND THIS IS HAVING A REPUTABLE CHARACTER JUST AS JESUS HAS

This is what makes your christianity fashionable as that of CHRIST and gives it the GOD equivalence we carry in CHRIST JESUS. 

And please you should note this statement by my mentor Bishop David Oyedepo

"It is lack of character that turns pastors to politicians" 

Was Jesus of reputable character? Yes HE WAS AND STILL IS. 

Recall what the BIBLE said in Numbers 23:19

" God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? "

 Looking at the words of JESUS Himself in the book of Mat 24:35,Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."


It should be noted that JESUS was so reputable in character that it was what he did he taught (Acts 1:1)

NOW A QUESTION ARISES

CAN YOU TEACH WHAT YOU DO BOTH IN SECRET AND IN THE OPEN?

The Blessedness Of Obedience

Understanding Obedience What is obedience? Obedience is the demonstration of the multifaceted wisdom of God. It is proving God true in whatever He says and is a sincere act of faith. I need you to understand the wisdom and the power of God in His Word. BUILDING YOUR VALUE SYSTEM AS A CHRISTIAN The first question that should come to your mind is  WHAT IS VALUE?  WHAT IS A SYSTEM?  According to late Dr. Myles Munroe value is anything you value A system is a set down rule(s) or guideline(s) geared towards attaining a goal Then a value system would be set down rule or guideline to whatever we value to attain a goal. As Christians the definition now becomes this  Value System is a set of biblical guideline(s) aimed at becoming like JESUS in every sphere of life Rom 8:29, 2 nd Cor 3:18.
