HE HAS NOT LEFT US IGNORANT TO DIE PART 1 

HOSEA 4:6 –7

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.” (KJV)

“My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget about your children. The more priests there are, the more they sin against Me. They have exchanged the glory of God for the shame of idols.” (NLT)

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children. The more they increased and multiplied [in prosperity and power], the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame” (AMP)

“My people are ruined because they don’t know what’s right or true. Because you’ve turned your back on knowledge, I’ve turned my back on you priests. Because you refuse to recognize the revelation of God, I’m no longer recognizing your children. The more priests, the more the sin. They traded in their glory for shame.”(MSG) 

This is the cry of GOD from scriptures and till today so many of us are still being destroyed as the NLT Bible puts it, the English dictionary defines destroyed as to put out of existence. So we can say we are put out of existence continuously (the verb being is in the continuous present tense) because we lack knowledge there are a lot of questions to be asked 

a. Who is the destroyer

b. How does he destroy us 

c. What has the BIBLE got to say about knowledge 

d. And how is this knowledge related to us 

WHO IS THE DESTROYER

I think this question has its answer to the surface of the waters as the BIBLE says in John 10:10

“The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (NLT)

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (KJV)

The destroyer is the thief and we all know that it is the devil. In his threefold ministry to destroy is a huge part of it. And the hierarchy of it is first to steal, kill then destroy so from this scripture we see that destroy is what happens after killing so let us go study together what the BIBLE says 

THE END PROCESS DESTROY 

​The first step to destruction 

TO STEAL

The first is to steal in the Hebrew the word means to thieve by implication to deceive: - carry away, secretly bring, steal (away), get by stealth.

What happens when you are deceived? ​First of all note that deception is painting a false picture of the truth which most likely is estimating the truth lightly than it should be.

Now when we are deceived what happens was the first question what happens is that we believe and let the rich and enriching truth to slip away from us, thus denying us from the blessings of the truth.

At this point you are misled on the right path which is CHRIST to a wrong path that allows sin to creep in and in turn, turns you to a prey.

The next question is what leads to deceit or better still why are we deceived?

I should suppose we know that it is IGNORANCE our deadly brother.

​​The second step to destruction 

TO KILL

This is the second of the threefold ministry of the thieve the devil which in the Hebrew is to smite with deadly intent: - destroy, out of hand, put to [death], make [slaughter], slay.

When you are deceived you are misled to the wrong track and here sin comes in and you become a prey that the devil can smite to death. What do you think happens to a prey? A prey is devoured with all sense of aggressiveness and hunger. So this is the point of death of the SPIRIT MAN based on the subject matter because your SPIRIT MAN feeds on the WORDS OF TRUTH AND OF LIFE TO GROW, at this point your Spirit man is suffocated with all forms of lie and deceit which leads to its death. So be very careful oh CHRISTIAN the moment ignorance creeps into your life on any subject matter you start preparing yourself as a ready prey to be devoured so hate ignorance and never run to it.

​​The third and final step is destruction

TO DESTROY

This is the last and ultimate stage in the ministry of the enemy. In this stage he desires massive destruction for anyone here and funny enough a lot of supposed Christians are in this stage.

Let us have a look at the picture the BIBLE paints as destroy the BIBLE has three different definitions for the word destroy in the Hebrew. Looking at the first 

saw-faw'

A primitive root; properly to scrape (literally to shave; but usually figuratively) together (that is, to accumulate or increase) or away (that is, to scatter, remove or ruin; intransitively to perish): - add, augment, consume, destroy, heap, join, perish, put.

maw-khaw'

A primitive root; properly to stroke or rub; by implication to erase; also to smooth (as if with oil), that is, grease or make fat; also to touch, that is, reach to: - abolish, blot out, destroy, full of marrow, put out, reach unto, X utterly, wipe (away, out).

shaw-khath'

A primitive root; to decay, that is, (causatively) ruin (literally or figuratively): - batter, cast off, corrupt (-er, thing), destroy (-er, -uction), lose, mar, perish, spill, spoiler, X utterly, waste (-r).

From this illustrations I believe you can see the state of man the first spoke scrapping in essence what the destroyer would do is that he after killing was going to scrap every essence you would not just be a living dead in GOD’s eye but you would be a living dead empty fleshless mortal.

Then the second  illustration in the old testament fat where grease was used, here the enemy now greases the empty dead corpse so it holds nothing you can with me see how wicked the wicked one. So that by no nature should it hold anything and begin to grow in essence. At this point in the individuals life she tends not to understand anything and even though help is ushered cannot hold unto anyone of them.

Then the last part here is that the end stage which as the definition implies is to decay, spoil, mar and as we all know this is the ultimate stage of the evil one at this stage is decadence, the individual’s spirit is stinking, rotten and feasted upon by minute animals of the earth and this was not one extent the plan of GOD at creation.

This is what GOD sees when HE cries out my people are destroyed for 

​​ANOTHER QUESTION IS 

IS THERE ANY SOLUTION TO REVERSE THE WHOLE PROCESS OR EVEN CLEANSE US AND MAKE US MUCH BETTER  

YES! YES!! YES!!! Is the beautiful answer to that question there is still hope and genuine hope

OUR NEW HOPE 

Our new hope is the person of JESUS CHRIST 

In the book of 1st John 3:8

“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

All these we have seen previously was the work of the devil and JESUS was manifested to destroy those very works.

The next question now becomes how the work of our common adversary destroyed is and how can we have his works destroyed in our lives.

My beloved and esteemed reader, hate ignorance and stick to the light of the WORD the mystery (revelation) in the WORD is enough to sustain your SPIRIT for the life’s journey against ignorance .

I TELL MY FRIENDS THAT JESUS WEEPT IS A WORD ENOUGH FOR A DAY IT MIGHT SEEM SMALL BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT IT IS FULL WITH ENOUGH REVELATIONS TO SPUR US TO THE GREATEST HEIGHTS WE DESIRE IN LIFE BECAUSE THE WORD OF GOD IS POWERFUL Hebrews 4:12
